Safari ($25)

Gold colour czech beads teamed with zebra stripes glass beads make this brooch very safari :) This piece inspired the creation of
Jessie seen below

Blueberry ($45)

Amazonites as well as acrylic beads are used in the creation of blueberry. Love how it goes with the gold colour. Similar to Strawberry Cheesecake posted earlier on.

Jessie ($35)

Created right after I completed Safari.
Love this piece and was so tempted to keep it for myself.
Created using glass and acrylic beads.

For Mum (Not For Sale)

Part of a set of earrings (Peony) I created earlier on. Aventurine beads were used to create this.

Last Posting before CNY

Flirt $15(SOLD)

2 tone czech glass are used here. Decided on the name flirt cause the 4 beads are very distracting when worn as each bead is hanging from a chain cut to different lengths. :)
CNY mood eh? The colour of the beads are not captured properly here. It has to be seen agst the light for its beauty to be fully appreciated.

Buddha Beads $40

My dear friend Unlce Logic gave this necklace its name . Although the beads used are of varying sizes, the colour reminds him of those beaded braclets used to chant prayers. haha but I beg to differ. Naturally red coral beads are used to put together this piece and antique finish leaf bead caps are used to break the otherwise too strong colour.

Peony $18(SOLD)

This was made as part of a set of necklace using the same beads for my mum who wanted something to go with her outfit for CNY.
Both types of beads used are aventurines and the gold chain used to connect the piece is tarnished gold. Vintage looking?

All That Glitters $18 (SOLD)

Green and white cracked glass beads make up this piece. Despite the lack of description, my dear friend as always have snapped it up almost immediately after I posted this entry. :)
Thanks babe!

Creations after a tired day.

Baby Donut $40
Created from semi precious stone's chips (see i don't remember the name) spaced with black glass beads. Focal piece is czech glass donut with gold foil. Gorgeous against plain coloured tops.
One of my first attempts at providing variations to the otherwise boring way of making necklaces.
No Name $60
Onyx and quartz are used to create this piece.
I have used silver and bronze jump rings to connect this necklace to make it look "rugged".
Love it for its ability to make the wearer look punk and elegant all at the same time.

Madam Butterfly $26(SOLD)

I have received numerous requests to make more of rockerbabe after the first posting. This is the another variation of the original. Decided to put in a bigger and classier butterfly and replaced the black chain with a strand of white pearls (not real ones of course)
Pretty? I think so too :P

Another Happy Posting

Strawberry Cheesecake $55
Made a similar one for sue. This baby can be worn in 2 ways and its name in case you are wondering, is derived from my fav ice cream from Baskin Robbins. You either wear it short like a choker... ok not exactly that short... or you can seperate the gold chain and the opals and wear it longish... My description is not exactly very helpful but I hope you get the drift. :)
My fav piece so far.. thought pink and gold goes very well together.. a new discovery :)
I used some acrylic beads to break the otherwise too sweet pink and had some faceted bronze lined czech glass as spacers. A special golden laser bead is used as well to give more variety to the gold tone. Nice! :)
Diao Chan $25(SOLD)
Closoinne beads are used for this pair of earrings with 2 2 tone czech glass at its ends. This is also the first pair of earrings which I attempted to make. The name diao chan is actually the name given to me by my other half.... diao chan is actually an ancient beauty and is part of the 4 beauties in Chinese Literature... but diao chan here means "diao man " or better known as unreasonable and "chan jui" --> greedy... :P
Er so why did I use this name?? I needed an oriental name for this...

Bubbles $40
Brazil sodalite and lapis make up this piece. Wanted to break the monotony of the oval shaped sodalites thus explaining for the round lapis. Very classy if you ask me... If given a choice I will not sell my stuff cause every piece is very special to me... but if I hold on to every single piece the chances of me going broke soon is very high.... Beading is a very expensive hobby......

Felicity $15(SOLD)

If I did not recall wrongly, Felicity is the gypsy lang's equivalent of Happy. This piece like its name, brings happiness through its simplicity. Faceted glass bead and facted bronze lined beads make up this number. I cannot remember the name of the green bead though..

LindSay $25 (SOLD)

Named after my fav teenage star who I feel represents style. Pink cracked glass beads of different sizes are used to give colour to this pair. Nothing much to say about this as it speaks volumes for itself. :)

Here it comes!!

Finally... my new camera came in yesterday.... Have decided to start my new post with not earrings or necklace but a brooch.. I have only made 1 so far... so here goes :)

RockerBabe $25
I make use of semi-precious stones as much as I can especially for necklaces but as a self declared fashionista haha ... I also believe that accessories should be made affordable so pple who LOVE them can own as many pieces as possible. This said... rockerbabe is made from metallic pearl looking glass beads with crystal beads inserted for variety. Pewter butterfly charm is used to adorn this piece to soften the look.

Waltz $25 (SOLD)

Brazil sodalite/cat eye bead and glass bead are used to piece together this beauty. If you ask me, its best worn with simple white tee and jeans with you hair pull back to show off these dangling cuties. Another "must" in my list when creating accessories is that I will never make items, esp earrings too heavy to wear no matter how pretty additional stuff will make it look.
so yeah... this is ok to wear and it will not expand your ear holes haha.

Belly Pink $30 (SOLD)
Made from pink opal, this baby give me a very ethnic feel. Colour of the gemstone is richer than seen in picture.
Good with anything white, pink and even black :) Why belly pink? haha it reminds me of my belly dancing lessons :P

Hatsumomo $30 (SOLD)

Watched memoirs of a geisha recently? This pair reminds me of hatsumomo... the evil geisha (Gong Li) in the show.. Why? cuz of the oriental feel to it... its not very clear here but the middle red piece is a butterfly cloisonne. 2 little black glass bead streaked with gold dangles from the butterfly. Fierce? I like :)

SAYURI $35(Reserved)

Hmmmm since I have a Matsumomo, i need a Sayuri to complete the oriental theme.
Main bead is a Japanese shatter proof , electronically encrypted bead with gold foil outlining the contours of a blue rose (i think its a rose haha).
These beads are hard to make and cannot be produced on a massive scale. The details are very sharp and the design is exclusive (or at least according to the owner whom I bought the beads from)2 white beads dangling at the end are cat eye beads used to add weight to the earrings and to complete the look.

Dream come true

This site was set up to showcase my creations of jewellery that I have started making since end 2005. I have always had a passion for fashion but being educated in IT, there's no way I can work in the fashion industry or so I thought :P
I am still trying to find my style as you can see through the stuff that I have created. Items range from very "tai tai" to the punk princess style which I totally love. You are welcome to give me your feedback and suggestions as well as get me to customize something for you. It would be better if you already have an idea of what you want so I can tailor it to suit you =)
The photos will be posted in another weeks time as I am getting a new digi cam to capture the images better. so please hang in there and pop by soon .
Yours truly....
